Questions to ask your Wedding Florist.
 
- Is there a fee for the initial bridal consultation? Once you have given a deposit, how many
meetings are you allowed and is there a meeting for those additional meetings.
- What happens to the initial deposit? Is it applied to the bill or is it in addition to the
bill?
- Get a written quote for the flowers you are selecting. If there are additional floral or labor
costs, does the florist absorb these costs or will you receive an additional bill after the wedding?
- If there is a deposit, what happens if you want to change florists, the wedding is cancelled, or the
date changes and the florist is not available on that day? Is the deposit refunded, or a credit
issued, or do you simply lose the deposit?
- Can you get the names of other brides who would be willing to share their experiences?
- Does the florist set up the wedding, move the flowers from the church to the hall and pick up any
rented items the next day? And is there a fee for this?
- Ask the Florist if there will be other weddings booked on your wedding day, or is that date exclusive
for you. If there are others booked, is there a limit to how many other weddings the florist will
take?
- Does the florist pin on the corsages and boutonniere, or does the bride need to arrange for someone to
do that.
- What happens to the flowers in rented vases? Do the guests get to keep the flowers or does the
florist take them back?
